Messier 3 - The Globular Cluster in Canes Venatici

Messier 3 is a globular cluster in the constellation Canes Venatici. It contains around half a million stars and lies at a distance of 34,000 light-years from our planet. I captured this image during 2 nights in April using my new ZWO ASI2600MC AIR camera and Askar 103APO telescope. This was around the time that I starting thinking about photographing the entire Messier catalog. Below this description you can find the aquisition details and the fully annotated version of this image.
