Messier 78 - A Reflection Nebula in Orion in HaOiiiRGB

This is my latest capture of Messier 78, a reflection nebula in the Orion constellation. For this image I used two filters: my Optolong UV/IR-cut filter for the reflection nebula and the well known Optolong L-eXtreme filter to capture the Ha and OIII data. Using Photometric Continuum Subtraction in PixInsight, I isolated the pure Ha and Oiii signals and then combined them with the RGB data.

Originally I only intended to produce an HaRGB image, but to my surprise there turned out to be a small amount of OIII emission hidden within M78. I had no idea it was there, good thing I decided to take a closer look!

(P.S. I am planning to write a more detailed description of the object itself soon, but first I would like to do some additional research. For now please enjoy this remarkable nebula!)
