The EasternVeil is an object that I've captured before back in 2023. The entire supernova remnant is a lot of fun for astrophotographers like me to capture. The eastern section of the Cygnus Loop especially looks like a shockwave from a massive explosion. When I first captured it in 2023, I did not have the same editing experience I do now. I stretched the data too much, which caused me to lose a lot of data and colour. Two years later, with more practice in processing astrophotography data those problems were no longer and issue.
This image contains over 35 hours of exposure time, captured during 9 nights in the summer of 2025. This is my favorite image by far.
To ensure the high quality prints perfectly match the digital image, I produced multiple prototypes using different types of photo paper and materials, and carefully refined the results. The final result is the best possible balance between detail, contrast and print quality.
Each print is produced in high quality on Fujifilm Glossy photo paper.
The image itself was captured using my Askar 103APO, ZWO ASI2600MC Air cooled deep sky camera and an Optolong L-eNhance filter. This filter helped isolate the wavelengths of hydrogen alpha and Oyxgen III emission lines in the nebula.
The print is available in the following sizes:
30 × 45 cm (12 × 18 inches)
50 × 75 cm (20 × 30 inches)
70 × 105 cm (28 × 42 inches)
Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This certificate verifies that the print you receive is an original CVZ_Astro print, carefully crafted and inspected by myself to ensure a high quality standard.
I offer global delivery with parcel tracking, so you are always able to follow your order and be assured that it arrives in perfect condition.
